INTRODUCTION
To be MRCOG, journey starts by being a member, which involves passing the membership exams. The membership exam currently includes three parts. After passing them all, you have membership admission ceremony wherein one becomes MRCOG. Being MRCOG for more than ten years the next thing that happens is another ceremony to become a Fellow of RCOG or FRCOG.
There are also honorary fellows of RCOG but this is decided by college panel and are based on extraordinary and distinguished work done in field of O&G.
Prior to passing all your exams one can apply to be an associate member of RCOG, which allows them benefits to avail resources on educational platforms of RCOG website. These resources are useful for exam preparations and are other wise good sources to be updated on recent evidence in O&G practices.
